Polyurea Roofing and Flooring
No Tear Offs
With the selection of the polyurea, your money is wisely
invested in waterproofing and ultraviolet protection without
the cost of replacement or attachment systems.  Most
roofing systems require that the existing roofing be torn off
prior to the application of the new roof.  This is because of
the limitations of the roofing systems.  Polyurea systems can
be applied over an existing roofing system (so long as the
existing roof insulation is not totally saturated with water)
thereby reducing or eliminating expensive demolitions.
KW Coating JV
Chemical resistant
Our coatings provide resistance to inorganic bases, acids,
alkaline materials and hydrocarbon solvents.

Ponding Water Resistant
The polyurea roofing system can actually withstand
permanent standing water conditions with no leaks.  Many
other roofing systems can not make this claim.

Fully Adhered
The polyurea system is fully adhered to your existing roof
surface.  This means that there are no fasteners penetrating
into your roof surface and no wind uplift problems that are
commonly associated with membrane systems.

Seamless
Single ply roofing systems have miles and miles of seams
that rely on the installer to properly seal the seams.  If not
properly sealed the seam sealant deteriorates over time.
The chance of water penetrating into the building is greatly
increased with seams.  The polyurea system is seamless
which means no leaks.

Economical
Another benefit of the polyurea roofing system is that you
get two leak proof roofs for the price of one. Polyurea is
applied and fully adhered to the exciting roof and reinforced
with fiberglass in high stress areas and provides a water
tight casing over the original roof system.

Description
VFI-205 is a 100% solids, spray applied, pure
polyurea elasto-plastic polymer. It is characterized
by high elongation, low modulus, good chemical and
solvent resistance, and usability under wide climatic
conditions with outstanding durability. It is composed
of isocyanate prepolymers, which are reacted with
amine prepolymers, to form a polyurea elastomer.
Both components are low viscosity fluids, which react
very quickly to form a tough polymer when mixed and
applied using heated, plural component airless spray
equipment.

Primary Usage
VFI-205 is primarily used as a wear and waterproofing
membrane over concrete and geotextiles. Please
contact Volatile Free, Inc. for application specification.
